Court Reporter

Train for an exciting and demanding career as a Court Reporter!

Arlington Career Institute’s comprehensive program trains you in courtroom and deposition procedures, computer-aided transcription, word processing, closed captioning and real-time reporting. The program also offers specific training in English language skills and legal and medical terminology.

The Court Reporting program at ACI prepares graduates for an exciting career as a court reporter, closed captionist, communications access real time translation (CART) reporter, or official judicial reporter.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics*, the demand for court reporters is expected to grow by 14% through 2020, and will be influenced by new federal legislation requiring increased captioning for the Internet and other technologies.

Arlington Career Institute offers two court reporting programs:

  • The Court Reporting Program – Stenograph Machine (on campus and online)
  • The Court Reporting Program – Stenomask Reporter

ACI offers flexible class schedules, including full-time and part-time courses! Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Medical Assisting

Medical Assistant training gives you the certification and knowledge to provide quality medical care and make a real difference in patients’ lives. Your Medical Assistant education at Arlington Career Institute teaches you a combination of clinical and administrative skills to help you thrive in a busy medical setting. As a Medical Assistant, your day may consist of taking patient’s vitals, performing a number of medical lab procedures and more.

As a Medical Assistant, you’re an important link between the patient and the healthcare delivery system, providing essential support to both patients and physicians in a rewarding medical career. Upon completion of the program students will take the MA Certification Exam administered by the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).

This program may be completed in as few as 10 months.

The medical programs at ACI offer students the training to pursue a career as a Medical Assistant or as a Medical Office Specialist. Graduates of the Medical Assistant program will receive a Medical Assistant Diploma, Phlebotomy Certificate, EKG Certificate, and Certification as a Medical Assistant by the National Association of Health Professionals*.

*Requires a score of 70% or above on NAHP medical assistant certification exam.



Medical Office Specialist

If you are interested in the Health Care industry, the Medical Office Specialist course at Arlington Career Institute is the perfect choice. You’re prepared with solid training for a career in medical records, medical transcription, medical billing and coding, or front office administration for a clinic or hospital.



Paralegal/Legal Assistant

If you attend ACI’s full-time day paralegal program, you’ll receive training through the school’s on-site law firm, Vecchio & Vecchio. During your third quarter of training, you will be able to work with the law office on a day-to-day basis on actual case files.

The Paralegal/Legal Assistant program can offer this valuable work experience! The hands-on training paralegal students gain provides valuable experience. It is this real-world experience that makes ACI’s paralegal program quite unique.

You’ll get the skills you need for specialized expertise in any legal firm, government agency, corporate office, or other legal entities across the country.

You’ll also be eligible to take the NALA certification exam so you can become a certified paralegal. ACI is an official test site for the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) certification exam and a member of the Fort Worth Paralegal Association and the Denton County Paralegal Association.
